Dan Carter, CPA
Wealth Manager
Dan provides comprehensive wealth management services to clients, guiding clients through customized financial plans and analyzed investment portfolios. Prior to joining Sierra Management Group in 2019, Dan was a Partner at one of the top 25 public accounting firms in the US where he focused on financial statement audits for governmental and for-profit entities. In 2002, he received a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business with a concentration in Accounting from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and in 2006, he received a Masters of Accountancy from the University of Nevada, Reno. Dan is licensed with FINRA under Series 65 and a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Nevada. Dan fills any spare time doing outdoor activities with his wife, and two children.
Anthony Ozuna, CPA, CFP®
Wealth Manager
Anthony delivers a variety of wealth management services to SMG’s clients, including portfolio modeling, retirement planning, tax consulting and estate plan review. Prior to joining Sierra Management Group in 2019, Anthony worked as a Tax Partner for over 10 years, where he focused on taxation preparation and financial consulting matters for individuals, business, trusts and estates. In 2007, he received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Nevada, Reno. Anthony is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Nevada. He serves on the Planned Giving Advisory Council for the University of Nevada, Reno. Anthony enjoys staying active, traveling, and cooking with his family.
Amy Ozuna, CPA
Client Services Manager, Controller
As Client Services Manager, Amy oversees SMG’s day to day client facing operations to help ensure we are providing exceptional service. Amy is heavily involved with the firm’s client onboarding, periodic reporting, and ongoing servicing. As Controller, Amy serves the role of the firm’s finance and accounting function, including accounting operations, reporting and analysis, budget development, and treasury management. Prior to joining Sierra Management Group in 2020, Amy spent over 10 years at one of the top 25 public accounting firms in the US where she focused on financial statement audits for governmental and for-profit entities. Amy also served as the Controller for a trust with over one billion dollars in cash and investments. Amy received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Nevada, Reno and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Nevada.
